Swap Scrapbook Supplies with Your Fellow Scrapbookers

by Kim Jackson

Scrapbooking gatherings, also known as crops, can be a great place to take advantage of sharing products and tools with your fellow scrapbookers. If you plan ahead and coordinate with other scrapbookers attending the same crop, you can each bring supplies that you can divvy up (like paper) and tools that you can share.

For example, by sharing a single pack of patterned paper and a few circle punches with your friends, you can create fantastic layouts, such as this one:

This is Me by Nicole Harper as seen in Budget-Friendly Scrapbooking, page 13.

To see other layouts created using the pack of paper and circle punches Nicole used, check out Budget-Friendly Scrapbooking.

Sharing Resources for Scrapbookers

Organize your own crop for yourself and your friends, or meet up with other scrapbookers just like you through Creating Keepsakes. Whether you choose to swap supplies or split a pack of paper via the mail, meet up at events, or create accents to swap, take advantage of these resources:

The Scraptivities forum at Club CK is a great way to meet other scrapbookers who want to share ideas and supplies.

CK Scrap & Play events are intimate crops with fantastic classes and plenty of time to scrapbook with your friends.
