Family Trivia: Sources for Public Records

As a scrapbooker (and the family storyteller), you know that the cool and interesting "betcha didn't know this!" trivia is exactly what you want to capture on your layouts. Read on for links to help you research your family history.


Scrapbook about your family heirlooms and why they're important to you. After receiving a painting of her grandfather that was done by a French artist during World War II, Cindy Tobey wanted to know about his war story. She did some research online and found out which battalion he was in and some of the things his battalion did during the war. She discovered that she can request his military records from the National Archives and plans to do so very soon.
