Check out the incredible classes you will receive at CK Scrap & Play! Together we'll be inspired, learn new techniques, create fabulous projects, and crop the night away!  

Every attendee will receive the five core classes as part of the event registration. If you want to keep learning during some of the open crop times, we've got specialized ala carte classes that you can add to your registration. They're such cute projects, you definitely won't want to miss them!

Merry and Bright

Sponsored by Technique Tuesday

 

Get a jump start on your holiday card making with this Merry Little Class. You'll make 4 festive and fun cards and one gift tag. Technique Tuesday will show you some ways to use stamps, seam binding, tape, technique tiles and more.

Please bring the following supplies with you: basic supplies, your favorite wet and dry adhesive, fine tip scissors, black ink pad, clear acrylic block and wet wipes.

 

These are Good Times

Highlight your good times with this vibrant and fun layout where you'll learn how to create cute and easy flowers, make accents using the latest trend - twine, color clear rhinestones and neutralize the adhesive on your stickers! You'll use products from American Crafts and BasicGrey while creating this two-page layout designed by CK Dream Team Member, Kim Watson.

 

Travel with Me

Whether it’s a once in a lifetime vacation, quick overnight trip, or even a staycation,  we all have photos from trips that need to be scrapbooked! Join us as we create a 10-page 8” x 8” album from Maya Road to showcase your photos and memorabilia using Simple Stories’ new line, Destinations.  It’s the perfect travel album that you and your loved ones will want to revisit again and again!

 

I’ll Always Remember

We all have special moments that we want to remember and this two-page layout using My Mind’s Eye’s latest release Lime Twist is the perfect place to record the memories. This bright and fresh layout shows you how to incorporate twine, distressing, and cute accordion flowers into a layout you’ll always remember!

 

GET A ROUND TO IT CARDS

Need cards for everyday occasions? Get a round to it with this fast and easy circle card class that lets you choose sentiments from happy birthday, thank you, congratulations, love, thinking of you, or celebrate. Create two each of two designs (four cards total) using Close To My Heart's 4 ½” circle cards, exclusive pre-cut Miracle papers, self-adhesive green and blue Sparkles embellishments, stitched ribbon, and Salutations Seals stamp set. You get to keep the stamp set to create more cards at home!

Add these Ala Carte classes to your CK Scrap & Play experience, learn new techniques and create fun projects to show off back at the crop!

Oh What a Week!

You know your life is busy but have you stopped to document the details that make up a week in your life?  This layout focuses on you, your family, and its surroundings while you learn how to pierce and stitch your own flower stems, make your own button centers using the Imaginisce i-Top tool, and create texture and dimension on your projects. You’ll create a two-page layout designed by CK Dream Team Member Laura Vegas using products from Bella Blvd and Jillibean Soup that make any week look good.

• Student supplies needed: Basic supplies, your favorite tape runner, fine tip scissors and journaling pen

Friends

 

Here’s a chance to celebrate your favorite friend.  In this class, you’ll make a 4x6 mini album about friendship.  You’ll play with Technique Tuesday tiles and our new patterned paper designed by Ali Edwards.  We look forward to seeing you in Boise, and creating new friendships of our own. 

 

 

 Class price: $20

·         Student supplies needed: Wet and dry adhesive, clear block for stamping, black ink pad, corner rounder, circle punch, and crop-a-dile tool

My Life in Lyrics

Music is all around us. It's on while you're driving, it's playing during your gym work out, or in the background at home to help you relax. Whether you listen to country, pop or rock, lyrics from your favorite songs can inspire, heal and remind you of special memories and moments in your life. Join us in class as we create a 6x6 album that is centered around song lyrics and Basic Grey's newest line Sweet Threads.

Class price: $30

• Class length: 2 hours
• Student supplies needed: Basic supplies, several refills of your favorite tape runner, glue dots, fine tip scissors, black or brown journaling pen and brown chalk ink.

6 Cards in 60 minutes

Possible?  Why yes! Fancy yourself a card maker? Then this is the class for you! Darling embellishments from Pebbles Inc. and Jenni Bowlin. Fabulous papers from Bo Bunny, Cosmo Cricket and Bazzill Basics Paper plus fun techniques. These cards will keep you in stitches with ribbon pleating, hemp and the new and trendy baker’s twine.  Cute cards your friends will think you spent hours creating for them.
