I studied at Brigham Young University and at the Santa Barbara Art Institute where I received my BFA degree in painting and printmaking in 1974. Since then I have worked as a graphic designer, photographer, and illustrator while developing my reputation as a papermaker and portrait artist. I exhibit my artwork in San Antonio, Texas and Scottsdale, Arizona; I am currently in Lorain teaching drawing and papermaking at Lorain Community College and the Firelands Association for Visual Arts in Oberlin, Ohio.
My first love is paper making which includes formed sheets, hand made books, luminaries and paper castings. I have been part of numerous artist exhibitions including: Fiber Art Center - Amherst, Massachusetts (2006); Stone-Metal Press (2004); Lorain Civic Center (Paintings and Drawings) (1979); Cleveland Museum National May Show (1978); North Dakota Print and Drawing Competition (1977); and Cleveland NOVA Invitational (1976). |
