Calling All Card Makers!
Believe it or not, it’s time! Yes indeed, friends, the seventh and greatest issue of Card Creations yet, is officially in the works. I know you’ve been pacing the floor, watching your e-mails, and dreaming night after night for the green light that says, “Yes! Submit! It’s time!” Get out the Big Guns ladies, it is officially your time to shine.

We can’t wait to see your unique card designs for possible publication. Our space is limited, so send us your very best ideas that feature the ultimate in card making techniques and products. We’re looking for innovative, out-of-the-box approaches to themes, interactive cards, unique card shapes, humorous and serious card sentiments, and creative uses of products that will cause a spontaneous burst of excitement in all us editors that says, “Yes!  Amazing! That card is SO in!”

As you’re creating your masterpieces, please submit cards in the following themes:

All Occasion (hello, thinking of you, humorous as well as serious, blank/no sentiment, etc.)
Anniversary (milestone anniversaries as well as generic ones)
Baby
Be My Valentine (love and Valentine’s Day)
Birthday (kids, adults, milestone ages, teens, etc.)
Congratulations (new job, promotion, making the cheer squad, getting engaged, getting an ‘A’, first house, new car, etc.)
Easter
Encouragement (you can do it, good luck, in general or for specific events, etc.)
Father’s Day (expectant dads, new dads, grandfathers, like a dad to me, brothers or friends who are dads, military dads, etc.) 
Friendship (girlfriends, best friends, humorous as well as sentimental)
Get Well (sick, hospitalization, broken bones, humorous as well as serious sentiments)
Graduation (high school, college, middle school, graduate, etc.)
Halloween
Hello
Miss You (romantic, military, etc.)
Mother’s Day (expectant moms, new moms, grandmothers, like a mom to me, military moms, etc.)
Season’s Greetings (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s)
Sympathy
Thank You (in general as well as for specific people such as teachers, soldiers, coaches, friends, host/hostess, etc.; as well as for specific occasions and events, such as for a gift, offering support, listening, etc.)

DEADLINES
Idea/digital picture deadline: Wednesday, December 10, 2008
Project acceptance from Paper Crafts editor: No later than Thursday, December 18, 2008
Completed project deadline: Friday, January 23, 2009

Important Note:  Please send just ONE CARD PER E-MAIL with a complete supply list, the finished size of the card, and a brief statement describing the technique used.  Please be sure that all photos/scans are 300 dpi or less. Also, please submit cards with product that will be available June 2009 through October 2009.
