for the following categories. Deadline: November 30, 2008 Wedding Page “I Dos” We’re looking for layouts featuring memorable moments and details from your wedding day: your ceremony, your reception, your wedding party, the guests, the cake, the dress, the rings, and more! Mother and Father Know Best What words of wisdom, interests, skills, examples, and life lessons have your parents passed on to you? What advice are you hoping to pass down to your children? Maybe they are the same; maybe they are different. Send us layouts covering these topics for our upcoming Mother’s Day and Father’s Day issue. Focus on Photos Send in your best photos that showcase the bonds between different generations. We’d like to see photos of your mother and grandmother interacting with each other, photos of your son with his grandpa or great-grandpa, and especially photos that capture three or four generations in one shot. Submit posed portraits or candid shots that you took—especially those that capture the personality of the relationship. Send 4 x 6 photos as jpegs at 72 dpi. Fast Album Formula If you’ve created a mini-album that follows a consistent design scheme and uses coordinated products, we want to see it. Submit up to six pages from your album, and tell us about your approach. (Be sure your journaling is readable.) Photos First Eight-photo layouts. We want to see simple scrapbook pages, especially two-page spreads, that feature exactly eight photos. Get creative with grids, rows of photos, asymmetrical photo collages and more! Reader Showcase This issue, we’re looking for pages about friendship. Scrapbook about your current circle of friends, lifelong relationships, childhood pals, old college roommates, and more. Or focus on your children’s friendships (whether real or imaginary). Simple Schemes Show us what you can do with this issue’s multi-photo scheme. 12 x 12 page 8.5 x 11 page |
