Ingredients

1 pkg. pita bread
1 can spaghetti sauce
1 cup grated mozerella cheese
1 pkg. sliced pepperoni
Any other toppings as desired

Equipment

heavy-duty aluminum foil
spoon

Instructions

Cut pita in half and spoon spaghetti sauce into pocket spreading evenly. Add mozerella, pepperoni and any other toppings you wish.
Wrap in heavy duty foil and place in coals. Cook for 1 1/2 minutes on each side. (You just want it to get warm and to melt the cheese. For really hot coals this is plenty of time.)

Memories
My dad made these for as long as i can remember, the potatoes, onion and carrots. Now it's family members trying to make them like dad use to. i've used it with the onion soup mix and another time with a herb mix off the shelf the possibilites are endless but we do still use the old one when thinking of dad.
Tin foil dinners, now I'm in the camping mood
We used to do these all the time when we camped with the kids. I love these, certainly comfort food. We use sliced potatoes and fresh herbs laid on top.
Tin foil dinners rock!
Spruce it up with a squeeze of lemon and some soy sauce and you will have a culinary feast in your mouth. Thanks CK!

It's funny that we camp frequently but have only eaten these at home! My favorite of the two is the meat, potato, and veggie recipe
