Create a Cool Lined Look with Cardboard |
In “Paint with a Twist” in the April 2009 issue, we showed how to create journaling lines with paint and a piece of chipboard. Here’s a fast variation by Lisa Andrews that shows how to create a cool grunge look in minutes with corrugated cardboard. Follow these easy steps.
1. Tear a piece of cardboard off a packing box.
2. Peel the top layer of the cardboard off to reveal the corrugated lines.
3. Run your finger in between the lines to give them a more polished look.
4. Use a foam paint brush to apply paint to cardboard. Turn the piece over and stamp paint onto your layout as desired. That’s all there is to it!
