Therefore, we want it to inspire and comfort you. After all, we don't want any homesick campers. And, what better way to make your surroundings feel like a home than with a few happy projects? In this class, we'll discover quick ideas for dressing up the walls of your space, inspired by home, sweet home . . . errr, make that cabin, sweet cabin!

#1: Add Some Flavor with a Frame

While you're away at camp, display photos you love in decorated frames. This idea takes only minutes to do and is guaranteed to make the wall above your bunk look brighter. Simply purchase a frame with an included mat and cover that mat with your favorite patterned paper and embellishments.

Keep these tips in mind when creating your frame:

Tip: Keep the main focus on your pictures by making them black and white. Patterned paper is oftentimes colorful and bold, which will compete with colored photographs. Using B&W photos gives you a nice balance.

Tip: Cover the reverse side of the mat instead of the front, which is oftentimes cut in at a slight angle. Doing this, you can easily turn the mat over and use the original option if you're ever looking for a change.

Tip: Don't be afraid of color. This is a simple way to add a splash of color to your space without overpowering any room. Wanting some pink on the walls in my craft room, I did this with various pieces of paper, rather than painting an entire wall in my favorite hue.
