In the "Tools & Techniques" column of the May 2009 issue of Creating Keepsakes, I shared the idea of using circle punches to create 3-D sun accents. Here's how you can create them at home:

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Punch 9 circles from cardstock using a 1½" or 2" circle punch.

2. Use one of the punched circles to create your base and fold the remaining eight circles in half.

3. Adhere the backs of the folded circles together to create your dimensional circle.
