Scrapbooking Tools & Techniques: Make A Tree Accent |

Make a tree accent using patterned paper
One product every scrapbooker has on hand is patterned paper. What makes this product so great is the many ways you can change it up to create unique accents. For example, check Tools & Techniques in the November/December 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine for ideas like punching leaves and crumpling them to create dimensional accents.
Layer a printed transparency over patterned paper for added dimension.

As seen in the November/December 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes.
Create this accent on your scrapbook layout

1. Cut patterned paper into desired shape.

2. Cut transparency to same shape and size as patterned paper.

3. Adhere patterned paper and transparency together.
For additional holiday tools and techniques for your scrapbook pages, see the November/December 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.
