In the March/April 2013 issue of Creating Keepsakes, Shelly Jacquet shows multiple ways you can add tabs to your scrapbook layout, including this delightful layered-tab flower.

Make your own tab flower by following these simple steps:

Step 1: Punch 20-25 tabs from multi-colored patterned paper.

Step 2: Layer all but the last two tabs in a circle, adhering each tab to the one below.

Step 3: Trim away the center of the flower. Adhere the final two tabs.

Step 4: Adhere flower to card or layout and top with a chipboard accent, button, or brad.
This is a great way to use up those leftover scraps!
