Shimmer Leaf Designs for Scrapbooks |

Creating a truly unique look on your scrapbook layouts just got a lot more colorful thanks to this technique by Liz Hicks. She made leaf accents to add color and dimension to her work of art. You can achieve the same standout look by following these tips:
1. Hand cut leaves and stamp with water-safe ink (such as StazOn), which won't bleed when misted.

2. Paint leaves. (Note: Tattered Angels Glimmer Glaze does not come with an applicator attachment as shown, but a paint brush will easily do the trick.)

3. Spray painted leaves with coordinating spray ink.

4. Coat leaves with clear, liquid adhesive to create glossy look.

This technique and more can be found in the October 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine. Click here for more creative ideas for using spray ink on your scrapbooking projects!
