Cupcake-Liner Flowers
"10 Candles" by Cindy Tobey, as seen in the May/June 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.
Simple flowers created from cupcake liners add a splash of color and sparkle while also serving as a subtle memento of the cupcakes you served at your child's birthday party. Here's how to create this fun, easy scrapbook page accent:
Step 1: Flatten cupcake liner with hand; cut liner into spiral using scissors.
Step 2: Color along outside edge of spiral using marker.
Step 3: Punch 2" circle from cardstock. Adhere cupcake liner spiral to cardstock circle starting at outside. Gather liner as you go, creating ruffles.
Step 4: Add liquid glue to top edge of rosette. Spring with glitter.
