Ribbon Techniques with the iRock Tool |
The iRock Tool by Imaginisce, which was featured in the November/December 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes, is used to heat set rhinestones, but it also has a few more tricks up its sleeve. Check them out and see how it can make your ribbon work easier.
1. Iron Out Ribbon Kinks
Use the hot end of the iRock tool to smooth out wrinkles in your ribbon.

2. Prevent Frayed Edges
To keep the cut ends of your ribbon from fraying, run the hot end of the iRock tool over the ends to create a seal.

Note: This tool gets hot. Please approach all of these techniques with caution.
For more on the iRock tool, check out the November/December 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.
