March 2009 Mail Call
Thanks to all of you who send us your feedback. It helps us improve each issue of Creating Keepsakes to be what you want. Here are letters from loyal readers with great suggestions:
Thank you for adding the sketch insert to your magazine—the sketches are just GREAT! May I suggest one change? Could you please include the page number for the layout that goes with each sketch? Even though the insert includes the artist name and the column name, it still takes quite a while to track down the specific layout that inspired the sketch. This change would make the process much simpler. Thank you!

Your February 2009 issue contained so many creative ideas. I especially loved the valentine ideas, and I think I may need to make more than one valentine for my daughter to hand out on Valentine’s Day! Also, I have so many pages dog-eared so I can scraplift ideas. Thank you for the designs from talented people!

In “Scrapbookers Making a Difference” in the February 2009 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine, we incorrectly stated that Aleida Franklin had been battling depression before her untimely death in an automobile accident. The implication was that the two items could have been connected.
The depression aspect came from online sources and should have been checked for accuracy before publication. In reality, Aleida did not suffer from depression—family and friends describe her as a vibrant, fun-loving person who lived life to its fullest even when times were hard.
Creating Keepsakes apologizes for the error. Our author’s intent was to highlight a wonderful woman who touched those around her and will be missed greatly.
Send us an email letting us know what you think about our website, magazine, events and products. You could be featured in an upcoming issue of Mail Call.
