Frosted Titles for Your Scrapbook Layouts
To give your scrapbook layout the chilly look of winter, create a frosted title. Here are several techniques you can use to create this look, using a variety of supplies. Discover which one works best for you!
Florida Winter by Mou Saha. Supplies: Cardstock: Die Cuts with a View; Patterned paper: Ann Griffin; Stamp: Studio Calico; Ink: Tsukineko; Pen: Newell Rubbermaid; Adhesive: 3M.
Partially ink your stamp and then stamp your title onto a white background, as Mou Saha did on the layout above. The background will show through and resemble frost.
Create your title letters from whitewashed cardstock. Sand the letters so that some of the color beneath shows through, creating the frosted look, as Suzy Plantamura did in the layout above.

Sand chipboard letter stickers, as Shaunte Wadley did on the layout above, so that some of the top coloring comes off, revealing the chipboard below.
To create a frosted look, try adding any of the following to a colored title:
White paint or spray ink
