Free Font Download

Enjoy this free CK Allison font courtesy of the Creating Keepsakes team. Tiffany Tillman used the font to create the text-patterned paper on this layout. Design Tip: Create a Personalized Patterned Paper

If you can't find the perfect patterned paper to accentuate your photos, make your own using a font. Handwriting fonts tend to be my favorite choice, but "typewriter" fonts work well, too. To re-create the look of a patterned paper, type your desired phrases or words until they fill an 81/2" x 11" page in a word-processing program, and then print it. Keep it simple using a solid color cardstock, or you could even choose a subdued patterned paper to use when printing your text.

I had the same problem, but when I backspaced to the word in CKali font and then hit backspace again, it stayed in the desired font! Don't ask me how or why!! PS Love the font!

Cannot get font to work correctly

I've installed the font - it works until I hit the spacebar, then it changes to Times New Roman. Any suggestions?

Font download for Mac

You shouldn't need to do anything other than right click or control-click the link, choose "download linked file." When you get it, it should come through as a ttf file. If as happened to someone else it has a text file extension (.txt) change it to .ttf. Double click and the Mac's font installer should pop up, and offer to Install Font. Easy!

Computer dummy

OK I'm a real computer dummy. I have downloaded the font into my documents and that worked, but how do you use these fonts to type and print it out??? Help!

Still Doesn't Download

I've tried 3 times now. I have a PC. I tried clicking and holding down control but it didn't work here. I click on the link and it brings up a box that says to open the file. I say Open and it brings me to a page where there are 2 other files (unrelated). I tried clicking when I got the box and also when I got the page and nothing. What am I doing wrong?

yes, it's mac friendly :)

I have a mac and it works for me. You need to right click on the link and save it to your desktop. It will appear as "CK_Allison.ttf.txt" which is not a font file. Delete the .txt from the name and when prompted choose "use .ttf". Then simply drag the file into your fonts folder and you're ready!

If you click while holding down the Crtl key, it will download. This is for windows...

font not downloading

Can't wait to try out the CK Allison font but I can't get it to download. Is it Mac-friendly?
