Doodling 2.0 Frame |
As scrapbookers, we infuse our artistic abilities into our scrapbooks--there's just something very fun and freeing about being able to truly create from the heart.
One artistic way to add personal flair to your layouts is with doodling. We've all done it in meetings and while chatting on the phone. Whether you fall among the beginning or the advanced on the doodling scale, why not try adding fun and creative hand-drawn accents to your layouts?
Start with a version 1.0, using your favorite pen--then take it to the next level, or version 2.0, by introducing additional mediums like watercolors, paint, and even fabric.
Create Your Own Doodled Frame
For a great addition to your scrapbook layouts, doodle a frame that is as simple or as intricate as you like.
For a doodling shortcut, using cardstock and some scissors, cut out this doodled frame in the shape of your choice. Add your own doodles--and color in as desired.

For more doodling approaches that will make a big impact on your layouts, check out "Doodling 2.0" in the February 2011 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.
