To create this look:

1. Download this overlay from ErinInk. Note: This is a PNG file, so you'll need Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to use it.

2. Open your photo and the overlay in Photoshop Elements.

3. Place your photo on top of the overlay, and clip the photo to the overlay (Control + G for PC; Command + G for Mac).

4. While on the photo layer, select a blending mode from the drop down menu (Erin Clayton chose Hard Light for this example).

5. Flatten and save your new image.
