Creativity Heals: Renewal
In each issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine we highlight how creativity can help you during difficult times in your life. Inspired by the classic "Rosie the Riveter" poster from World War II, Nancy Doren made this layout to remind her that she is resilient, a talent that's new and renewing to her.
Challenge: Make your own scrapbook layout that helps you heal or remember your strengths when life becomes difficult. To give more context to your story, include symbols or illustrations of a historic figure or event that represents qualities you admire.
For more ways to heal or help others to heal through scrapbooking and other creative projects, read "Creativity Heals 2010."
