Creativity Heals: Community |

In each issue, Creating Keepsakes magazine highlights how scrapbooking can help you heal during difficult times. In the February 2011 issue, we shared a layout about Luke, a boy who died in infancy whose family remembers him by celebrating his birthday each year. That same family started a program, Luke's Tree, to help families in their community that have children in the hospital at Christmastime. Brigid Gonzalez created this layout to tell their story.

Support and encourage those volunteering their time and efforts to help healing in your community by creating a scrapbook layout about their contributions. Doing so is a way to show your gratitude, and can even be a means of teaching others about the cause, inspiring them to participate.
