Add Pom-poms to Create a Furry Premade Accent

Create a wonderfully cushy spring embellishment for your scrapbook layout by topping a premade accent, like a bunny sticker or die cut, with pom-poms. Kim Watson used pom-poms to bring a fuzzy quality to her bunny accents and to enhance the overall spring theme of the pages. In addition to this technique, try using pom-poms to make other accents, like a furry title, or to frame a photo of a soft baby animal.

Create Dimensional Clouds Using Felt, Chipboard, and Glitter

Bring a fun texture to your spring layouts by using clouds made from a variety of products like felt, stickers, and chipboard. Notice how Suzy Plantamura used chipboard clouds combined with clouds punched from felt to create a textural feel to her layout. Apply glitter to your clouds to help give them definition and to add even more texture to your pages. In addition to these fun techniques, you could also outline a premade accent like a sun, flower, or butterfly with fuzzy trims for cool textures on your spring layouts. Use

* organza ribbon for see-through rainbows
