CK Sketches: July/August 2010
The Creating Keepsakes July/August 2010 issue's scrapbooking sketch has a simple, compact structure to unite its elements and help you scrapbook your memories quickly. Bookended by a title on one side and an arrow on the other, the main design of this sketch will direct attention to your photos, letting them shine. Try using it to scrapbook your summer activities, patriotic events, or everyday routines to add sparkling pages to your scrapbooks.

Design Tip: Switch Up Straight Lines
Although the sketch technically calls for straight lines in its borders and accents, don't be afraid to switch things up a bit. Follow Cindy Tobey's lead to create a zigzag edge, angle your arrow element, or even curl the end of your ribbon to add visual interest and dimension to your layout.
