You can easily fit five standard-size photos on your layout using this issue's sketch. By leaving even margins around the perimeter of your layout, you'll frame your photo grouping nicely. And by evenly spacing your photos with equal margins between them, your layout will have a delightfully orderly and uncluttered look. You're going to love this sketch-give it a try on your next layout!

Mountain Craft Days by Anke Turco, as seen in the March/April 2011 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.

Even it up: Anke Turco gave her layout a clean look by evenly spacing her photos, journaling block, and accent papers. Even margins bring balance to your layout, which creates a feeling of unity, harmony, and order.

Sketch tip: Use little details to break up the strong horizontal lines of this sketch. Notice how Anke did this by adding two small vertical accents to her layout: a pin on her journaling block and a bracket on a photo.

I'm a digital scrapbooker, but don't use Photoshop. Is there any way I can use your downloadable sketches or would you think about using a more universal format (is there one) for your sketches? I have LOVED using your sketches on paper layouts and would love to be able to do the same for my digital layouts now.
