CK Sketch Variation: May/June 2011 |
There's nothing odd about this issue's scrapbook sketch--it prominently features three spaces for journaling, which makes it a terrific example of the rule of odds. What's that, you ask? It's a composition rule that states that images are more appealing when there are odd numbers of them.

Or try this variation that also changes the number of photos to odd numbers.

Con Slancio by Deena Wuest, as seen in the May/June 2011 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.
Sketch Tip Deena Wuest altered the sketch to apply the rule of odds to the photos instead of the accents. With this variation, you'll give your photos additional emphasis by centering them on your scrapbook page.
