I loved this page but was a little disappointed that it didn't have all my symbols that are on my camera. Olympus SP-565UZ. I have a big trip coming up and it is a camera I am not fimilar with. would any one be able to add on to this teach sheet? There has to be at least 33 icons on my canera. HELP!! Oh, by the way I have a suggestion for using your camera in the rain. Use a shower cap over it to protect it.

Took me a while to find this on the website. Typed it in under "search" and found it. Very helpful. Thank you!. All cameras should come with such a tool! Could also include how to use the timer, and other features I keep forgetting how to use. Love cheat sheets.

I've been flying by the seat of my pants, so to speak, with the settings on my camera. With this handy guide, hopefully my pictures will be even better!

rlovesj: Your Pentax is a bit different because it does not have the icons at the top. Tv is for shutter priority--you have to make adjustments to increase or decrease shutter speed (higher number is like the sports mode and slower is like the nighttime mode). Av is aperture priority--again, you make adjustments after chosing this option. Lower f-stop numbers, refer to the flower icon and portrait icon notes, higher f-stop numbers is like the mountain icon). Play with your camera and fine-tune your skills and make notes on the sheets to fit your camera. Good luck!

what if your camera doesn't have pictues? I have a Pentax K10D and have SV, TV,AV, etc. Can someone convert this nifty chart for my use?
