Boho Chic Style Scrapbook: Make Your Own Tie-Dye Trim and Hemp Flowers |

Boho Chic's unique style draws on a variety of bohemian and hippie influences. Fun fringe, hemp, and tie-dye designs are staples for this artistic trend.
These steps show you how to use these fun techniques, as seen on Ronda Palazzari's scrapbook layout in the January/February 2013 issue of Creating Keepsakes, to bring this no-hassle, free-spirited look to your own scrapbook pages.
Tie-dye Ribbon
1. Brush on spray ink along bottom of petal.

2. Spritz it with water to let it "bleed" a little bit.

3. Paint additional spray ink along bottom of trim to achieve the strong pop of color along the base.

Design Tip Use a heat gun for a quicker dry.
Make a Simple Hemp Flower
Step 1. Take a 5" piece of hemp and make a figure eight loop. Add the hemp loops to the center of a chipboard circle with strong liquid adhesive.

Step 2. Create three more of these loops and add them to the chipboard base with additional liquid adhesive.

Step 3. Coil hemp around itself and glue to the center of the loops, finishing off this adorable little flower.
