2010 Creating Keepsakes Teen Talent Competition Rules
1. No purchase necessary. A purchase does not improve your chances of winning.
2. Contest will be open to males and females, ages 13 to 18 as of August 31, 2010, who are legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia, as well as all Canadian provinces excluding Quebec. Employee and independent representatives of participating sponsors, ("Sponsors"), their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and their family members (defined as parents, spouse, children, siblings, grandparents) and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to enter.
How to enter:
E-mail a JPG image or a link to a video of any memory-related creation made by the participant that uses photos to tell a story, capture a moment, or relive an event to email@example.com.
Enter as many projects as you like.
All entries will be judged equally based on overall appearance, creativity, and execution. Creating Keepsakes will select finalists. Projects of finalists will then be subject to a public vote. Finalists must submit a permission form signed by a parent or guardian in order to qualify project for a public vote. The project receiving the most votes will be awarded the grand prize, and four runners-up will also receive prizes, for a total of 5 winners. Projects will be accepted thru 11:59 pm (MST) August 31, 2010.
One Grand Prize winner will receive: a rolling shoulder tote and a craftian bag organizer from Plano, a Tamron camera lens, a Yudu screen printing station from Provo Craft, aSilhouette electric die-cutting machine with cutable materials, a Xyron Creatopia, a Xyron adhesive package, BasicGrey's Obscure line, a BoBunny paper pack, Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and Premiere, a Dell mini laptop.
Four runners-up will receive: a craftian bag from Plano, a Xyron adhesive package, BasicGrey's Obscure line, a BoBunny paper pack, and Adobe Photoshop Elements 8 and Premiere.
Total Approximate Retail Value of All Prizes: $3, 396. Sponsors make no warranties with regard to the prizes. Prizes are not transferable. No substitutions of prize allowed by winner, but Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value due to prize unavailability. Prizes are not redeemable by winner for cash value.
4. Sponsors have the right to photograph the winner. Entry constitutes permission to use the winner's name, picture, likeness, and city and state of residence for purposes of trade, publicity, or promotion for no additional compensation except where prohibited by law. All entries must be original, may not have won previous prizes, and must not infringe on any third-party rights. Submission of an entry grants Sponsors and their agents the right to publish, produce, use, adapt, edit, and/or modify the entry in any way and in any and all media, without limitation and without compensation to the entrant.
